The Healthy Habit Domino Effect

It’s Thursday. Sunday was my routine rest day (after 6 straights days of exercise, 100 oz. of water per day and an average of 12,400 steps per day).

From Monday to yesterday, I lost my momentum. I slept in, did not exercise, did not consume a lot of water (maybe 24 oz. per day), and averaged about 2,700 steps per day.

Today: got up early, exercised, and I’m at 3,000 steps at noon so far. I’ve also consumed about 30 oz. of water so far.

My point: For me and the VAST majority of humans, healthy habits start early in the day and have a domino effect throughout the day. Therefore, at the end of the day when we’ve done all the right things health-wise, we know it all began with the very first thought / action of the day.

I get it…we all intend to win the next day the night before that day. The secret (for me at least) is to ACTION that intention early on the day you intend to win.
